The INSTITUT PALAMÓS is a secondary education school, which is situated in a touristic area and students' interests are often related more to nightlife attractions than school life. Therefore our school tries to provide after school activities on weekdays and weekends, especially through our sports club, to promote healthy values among young people.

The school has also participated in several exchange projects with other European schools attempting to develop higher civic standards among our students and develop their sense of active citizens of a much larger community, which is Europe.

We believe that it is through such projects that the sense of European citizenship can be strengthened to a much higher level among our students and teachers.

INSTITUT PALAMÓS and the cordinator are involved in Comenius-Grundtvig courses with CFAE Centro-Oeste (Caldas da Rainha – Portugal) with these reference numbers in the official catalogue: PT-2011-051-002 and PT-2011-051-001
